I absolutely LOVE you...your wit, intellect, and they way you allow the =
spirit to use you.
Thank you so much for doing your McNairMail - I need the shot in the arm =
and the reminder to pull out my notes from your YSNYW Critical Concerns =
course - put in the video tape this week and get on track. Thnak you for =
kicking me in the backside.
I am at a crossroads - after 19 years of youth ministry in the Catholic =
Church - the Lord is sending the Holy Spirit to "move me" and I am =
frozen. For the mere by stander - one would say, Hey if the spirit says =
move - move!! But when all that you have worked for, ministried within =
and have been raised (in captivity) it is REALLY HARD to just LEAVE! =
=3D) LOL Our church is in a reformation period - the hierachy (sp?) =
wishes to reclaim the 'control' that has been lost to the laity over the =
past 20 + years since Vatican II (1964) For those of us that have a =
broad spiritual foundation - meaning that the Catholics aren't the only =
ones - this is very difficult to take and a very difficult time!
Oh well - enough about me.... =3D) and my religious - osity - dilemia.
The only reason - I even bothered to mention this - is MY DREAM within =
the near future is to have a welcoming place that is open to people that =
are working in a very gargantuaous manner for the Lord and have a place =
for them to showcase - YOU ! Five years ago when I met you - I would =
have had support to contract you for an Evening - today - the first =
question that I would be asked is: Is he Catholic??? - It doesn't matter =
that this man's abilities transcends all levels and reaches out to touch =
people in a manner that leaves them thinking, challenged and growing.
McNair - I hope to be in touch soon - I am part of NETWORK - the =
National Youth Ministers (all denominations) Meetings - I am going to =
propose to Bob Dunn that we see if the local Community College could be =
contracted to host a venue featuring you. Where there is a will there is =
a way!
Enough rambling. Thankyou again for what you do and are committed to! =
You are a phenomal man and I still treasure the time I was able to spend =
with you. Your words are inspirations - that have been nestled seed for =
quite a few years - this is the year that I hope I allow them to come to =
being - maybe not fruit - but " to a present state of being"
Thank you again for your inspiration - McNair - keep up the much needed =
work!
